Hey y’all, hey! What a day! I have THREE videos because of issues with the Internet. If you want to go straight to the craft, start with the last one, but all of them are posted if you want to see the very beginning!
Check out the video (or all of them!) below, or follow along here on the blog to see how to make one of your own!

Supplies:

Amazon: Deco Earth paint: Black, Mod Podge, Gator Microzip Sander Click here to check out my crafting essentials (This is an Amazon affiliate link and I may receive a small compensation for items purchased from this link.)
Milton’s Daughter: Debi’s Design Diary DIY Paint: Mint Chip
Thrifted: Spotted teal egg
Hobby Lobby: Scrapbook paper: Barnwood Pretty 2
Stash: Button, fabric scraps
Let’s make it!
I’m using a thrifted (and already) painted surface that’s shaped like an egg. I tore strips of scrapbook paper and used Mod Podge to glue them on. I started at the bottom and worked my way up to the top, then dried it with my heat tool.

I used my Gator Microzip Sander (ergonomic) to sand the paper from the edges.

I’m trying something new, y’all, and it’s a whole flicking-paint situation. I had to put my apron on just in case it didn’t go as planned. I had already started when one of our friends on the live suggested I water down the paint. Our friend Brandy Lynn also suggested I add some Mint Chip speckles, so Mint Chip it is! Pretty much everybody else said to use a toothbrush, but I didn’t have one nearby, so it’s a paint-brush-flicking-and-craft-stick situation now! “Tap the stick on the wet paint brush,” they said, so I did… and invented a dance to go with it! Meanwhile, the splatter is EVERYWHERE!
We got through that pretty well, so I dried it with my heat tool. But considering how everything started with the Internet messing with me, it’s just a miracle we are this far along!

I made a bow with fabric strips and added a button on top. I also added some raffia and greenery, and made a hanger with beads. I did something different with that hanger. Instead of craft sticks, I used fabric strips across the ends of the string of beads. And that bow? Y’all know I don’t do bows! But on the other hand, we still had Internet, so it’s fine, it’s just fine.
I always enjoy crafting with you guys, even when things get crazy! Let me know in the comments what you think of today’s craft!

Thanks so much for stopping by,
XOXO-Erin
