Before we get started, here are just a few crafts waiting for you in this new launch! Just click HERE or on the images to see the full release.

Let’s make it!

Y’all, I used paint pens, acrylic paint and chalk paint to paint the various pieces. Just enjoy the process!

Ok, so I painted the bases of both projects with Apple Barrel Nutmeg Brown paint. (It’s a light brown that looks like gingerbread.) I dried both with my heat tool.

I watered down some Waverly Antique Wax and darkened the reindeer just a smidge.

TIP: The bases are engraved so you’ll know where to place your pieces.

Next, I painted all the parts with Toolie Art Pens, Posca Paint pens, Apple Barrel and Debi’s Design Diary. Just use what you’ve got, y’all!

After painting, I sanded down some of the pieces just a bit.

TIP: Place small pieces on tape to paint.

I tested several colors for the door and decided on red, then I painted the rest of the pieces and dried them with my heat tool. The reindeer nose is in the image below.

I glued the pieces on with DAP Rapid Fuse glue, painted on some white highlights, and here we are! How cute are these!

I hope you all enjoyed this project and be sure to leave a comment and let me know your favorite! Check out the entire Woodshop release by clicking HERE.

Thanks so much for stopping by,

XOXO-Erin
