Let’s make it!
We are starting with the “Hello Fall” cutting board. I use masking tape to hold my small pieces down to make the painting easier. My letters and words are painted with Faded Burlap.

I painted the base of my cutting board with Hey Sailor (blue), then used my heat tool to dry it. I sanded it a little, then used my Ranger Distress Oxide ink pad to distress it on the edges. Next, I wiped the ink with a damp paper towel to distribute the ink, and then dried it with my heat tool.
I painted the wheat shapes with a mix of Faded Burlap and yellow, then painted a little Waverly Antique Wax to antique the wheat a bit.

There’s a little base that the cutting board stands in. I painted it with Waverly Antique Wax, then sanded it on the edges.

I glued the pieces on with DAP Rapid Fuse, and added a raffia bow to finish. Now on to the Oct 31 Halloween project!

I chose basic colors for this one, but you can use purple and green, orange, silver, or whatever colors you want that go with your Halloween decor.
I painted the background white, the numbers gray and the “Oct” and frame black. I sanded the numbers and background a little, then glued everything on with DAP Rapid Fuse.
I know it’s basic, but add a colorful bow or whatever you want to make it pop!

These are so cute, and I really enjoyed crafting with them!

Let me know in the comments what colors you would use for that Oct 31 sign! I appreciate all of your comments!
Thanks so much for stopping by,
XOXO-Erin
