Hey y’all, hey! I’m so excited today because not only am I already decorating for Christmas, it is also the SIXTH ANNIVERSARY for Lizzy and Erin! Wow, how time flies! I’m so excited for the next many years!
Check out the video below for all the fun, or follow along here and make this craft with us!
Supplies:

Lizzy and Erin Woodshop: Pompom maker kit, “joy” wood sentiment left over from a previous wood kit.
Amazon: Mod Podge Click here to check out my crafting essentials (This is an Amazon affiliate link and I may receive a small compensation for items purchased from this link.)
Dollar Tree: Framed sign for surface, wood cubes, wood stars
Hobby Lobby: Macrame cord
Let’s make it!
I removed the sentiment from the front of the sign, but it would take a lot of sanding, so I just decided to use the back side as my surface. I chose some black and white checkered scrapbook paper and cut it to fit my sign. Then I used Mod Podge to adhere the paper, then put it back in the frame.

To make the tassel, I used my Pompom maker from the Lizzy and Erin Woodshop. I Just wound the yarn around it, tied the middle and trimmed the end. Next, I just slid it off the pompom maker and slid the tied part closer to the top.
I trimmed them so their lengths would match.

I misted the wood pieces with water, then spritzed some Waverly Antique Wax with water and painted them. Then I hot glued the wood pieces onto my project.

And here it is! I hope you enjoyed this craft and maybe make one of your own.
