Squeeze The Day Lemon Decor

Hey y’all, hey! Pam has taken over my craft room today, so just put on your seatbelts, because when Pam’s in the house, you’re in for a RIDE!

She’s crafting with the latest release from the Lizzy and Erin Woodshop! Let’s all “Squeeze the day” and make this awesome summer sign!

Check out the video below, or follow along for all the steps to make one for your own. All of the wood pieces are available here in our Woodshop while they last!

SUPPLIES:

Lizzy and Erin Woodshop: Squeeze the day

Milton’s Daughter: Debi’s Design Diary DIY Paint: Bohemian Blue, white swan

Amazon: Mod Podge, DAP Rapid Fuse, sanding block, half wood beads Click here to check out my crafting essentials (This is an Amazon affiliate link and I may receive a small compensation for items purchased from this link.)

Walmart: Apple Barrel: Pale Daffodil and Bright Yellow

Let’s make it!

There’s a pattern on the base, but Pam decided to use Mod Podge and some shiplap scrapbook paper for her background. She painted Mod Podge on, placed the paper, then sanded the extra from the edges.

Next, she placed half wood beads all around the circle frame, hot glued them on, then painted them with Bohemian Blue.

Then she painted the “Squeeze the day” wood words (also with Bohemian Blue).

Pam painted the lemon frame with Bright Yellow, then painted the slices with White Swan.

She added Mod Podge over the white, then placed a yellow single ply striped paper napkin over the slices, trimmed them apart and then sanded the edges of the paper off.

TIP: Be sure to trim or sand off any extra paint or paper from the edges of your slices so they will fit just right in the frame.

She also sanded the outer ring to bring out some of the natural wood.

Pam used Erin’s DAP Rapid Fuse glue to attach the wood lettering and the lemon pieces onto the surface.

Then she made a “Clumpy-Dumpy” bow, and gave it a trimmy-trim. Pam might be a hot mess, but her bows somehow find a way to work out just right!

She used hot glue to attach it to her masterpiece!

Pam used Erin’s technique of adding a beaded hanger to the back….

She just hot glued the ends of her twine and secured them with pieces of craft sticks.

And here it is!

Pam hopes you enjoyed her little craft today! Let me know in the comments what you think! I appreciate each and every one of you.

Thanks so much for stopping by,

XOXO-Erin
