Let’s Make It!
When you get ready to craft, there is a pattern behind the pieces. It’s so easy to place all the pieces in just the right places. Just like a puzzle, y’all!

Now y’all know I love the shabby, rustic farmhouse look, right? That’s what I’m going for here!
I started by painting the base with White Swan. Don’t worry, you can still see the pattern and know where to lay your pieces!
I dried it with my heat tool, but you can set yours aside to dry.

Two of my favorite Debi’s Design Diary colors are Mint Chip and Bohemian Blue. I used a palette knife to scrape the paint on.
And this is when the struggle bus pulled up and called me to my seat! It wasn’t going “exactly” as planned, but you’ll see in the next set of pictures how it came together!

The doors to that bus were still open when I painted the whole surface with Bohemian blue, then sanded it a bit. You can see the other colors coming through!
Then I used Debi’s White Wax over the top and badabing! THAT’S the finish I was going for, y’all! Bye, bus!

I painted the petals white and touched them up with some Liquid Sunshine that I had toned down with White Swan (both from Debi’s Design Diary). I used Gypsy Green on the leaves and sanded them down a bit.

I used DAP glue to place my pieces on to the surface. Hot glue is too thick, and the DAP (super glue) allows the pieces to lay flat.
I also used clothespins to secure the pieces while they dry.

I painted the word “Daisy” with White Swan.

I cut a piece of burlap to go over the wood background for my “Daisy” letters, and here we are! I love the way this turned out. That struggle bus left in a cloud of smoke, y’all!
