Snowman Christmas Village

Hey y’all hey! Today we are adding the second part to our Christmas village, the snowman scene! Check out the video below for all the details or follow along here on the blog. Did you miss the first one of our village? Click here to see it!

Supplies:

Walmart: Anchor Hocking glass jar (medium size), pack of four little snowmen ornaments, cypress garland

Dollar Tree: Snowman ornament, flaky snow

Target: Small Christmas tree

Hobby Lobby: Pom pom balls (for the bucket of snowballs)

Costco: Six pack of Philips LED timer lights for $11.99

Epsom Salt

Let’s make it!

The little snowman came in a four pack from Hobby Lobby, and the larger one is from Dollar Tree. (He’s missing an arm, but it’s ok!)

The bucket of snowballs is just a little bucket I had and I painted it black and put pom pom “snowballs” from Hobby Lobby in it.

I put my lights in first (see them in the supplies list above), then poured Epsom Salt in the jar. I also added flaky snow from Dollar Tree, but I’m not sure it added to the project.

One of our friends suggested that the salt may corrode the batteries in the lights, so I’ll watch for that!

Once the lights are in and the “snow” is added, you’ll have a finished snowman scene for your Christmas village!

Did you see the first one I made? Check it out by clicking here.

Be sure to follow along on my blog or at Lizzy and Erin on Facebook so you can see these upcoming projects also! The first one is a shelf made for the village candy store, and the other one shows a truck delivering a tree.

Once all of them are made, I’ll enjoy placing them around my house. For the “main” street, I’ll be using risers and putting something like this cypress garland around the bases. I can’t wait to see them all together!

I hope you are enjoying this series, and are following along! Let me know in the comments below what you think might be a great addition to our Christmas village. I appreciate each and every comment!

XOXO-Erin
