September 2025 Woodshop Launch: Pretty Pumpkins!

Hey y’all, hey! We are wrapping up our Lizzy and Erin Woodshop Launch with a beautiful Pumpkin Trio Shelf Sitter kit. You can make this as pretty or primitive or even as funky as you want! Pick your paint and go for it, girl! We were also going to make the Lacy Turkey, but I ran out of time and had to pick up my son from school. I’ll share it soon!

Check out the video below or follow along here for all the steps!

Supplies:

Milton’s Daughter: Debi’s Design Diary DIY paint: Gypsy Green

Lizzy and Erin Woodshop: Pumpkin Trio Shelf Sitter

Amazon: Sanding sponge, DAP Rapid Fuse glue, Sharpie Creative Markers, Toolie Art Paint Pens, Waverly Antique Wax, Click here to check out my crafting essentials (This is an Amazon affiliate link and I may receive a small compensation for items purchased from this link.)

Stash: twine, beads

Let’s make it!

First, let’s talk about how I got the print on those pumpkins! Girl, I just used a scrapbook paper pad called Modern Farmhouse (Michaels) that was a gift from my friend Teresa Cook. There are so many good ones, y’all! Here’s a closeup… (and there’s gold on the paper of that third pumpkin!)

Now for the rest: I used Gypsy Green from Milton’s Daughter for the leaves, and Waverly Antique Wax for the top layers, little sign and the base, then dried them with my heat tool.

I painted the stems with a light brown Sharpie Creative Marker. I really like the contrast!

I glued the pieces together with DAP Rapid Fuse glue. The liquid “super” glues work better than hot glue because the hot glue dries clumpy and adds thickness to the project. Hot glue is great for a lot of other applications, but the liquid super glues are better for wood on wood.

I used a white Toolie Art Paint Pen to outline the “autumn love” sign.

I glued excelsior grass to the base, and added small beads to the leaves with twine. I also used twine to make bows on top. I did use hot glue to put the bows on, because they are clumpy anyway, and bada bing! It’s finished!

I’ll finish that turkey and share it later! Meanwhile, let me know in the comments how you would craft this pumpkin kit! Scrapbook paper? Paint? Fabric? I appreciate each and every one of you!

Thanks so much for stopping by,

XOXO-Erin
