Hey y’all, hey! It’s day two of the Lizzy and Erin Woodshop launch, and it’s also Labor Day week! This means we have only four days to share as much as possible from this amazing launch! Be sure and check out the images at the end of this blog to see even more finished kits.
Today we are crafting with the Decorative Framed Fall Wall Art. Two pieces that are perfect for your mantle or hanging. Maybe even add them to the center of a wreath!
Check out the video below or follow along here on the blog for all the details.

Supplies:

Milton’s Daughter: Debi’s Design Diary DIY paint: Faded Burlap (tan), Summer Crush (orange), Gypsy Green
Lizzy and Erin Designs: Custom Lil Hickabilly paint brush
Hobby Lobby: Ink blending tool
Amazon: DAP Rapid Fuse glue, sanding sponge, Sharpie Creative Markers, Deco Earth Paint: Apricot Blush, Orange, Dandelion and Yellow, Apple Barrel paint: White, Ranger Distress Oxide: Ground Espresso, ink blending tool Click here to check out my crafting essentials (This is an Amazon affiliate link and I may receive a small compensation for items purchased from this link.)
Let’s make it!
I painted the background with Debi’s Design Diary DIY Paint in Faded Burlap from Milton’s Daughter, and the frame and little signs with Apple Barrel white.

Next, I used my blending tool to apply a little water and Ranger Distress Oxide ink in Ground Espresso to paint the centers of the sunflowers. I mixed yellow and dandelion from Deco Earth to paint the petals of the sunflowers, and Debi’s Design Diary DIY paint: Summer Crush, and Deco Earth’s orange and apricot blush for the pumpkins. I painted the side part a bit darker than the center of the pumpkin then inked the stem with my Ranger Distress Oxide ink and blending tool.
I painted the leaves with Debi’s Design Diary Gypsy Green, then distressed the edges with my blending tool and ink. I put a little water on the blending tool and dragged the ink along the edges.

Blending tool and Distress Oxide Ink in Ground Espresso from Hobby Lobby or Amazon.

I inked the sides and middle with the ink / water, to add dimension to the leaves and sunflowers. I used my Sharpie Creative Marker to draw in some highlights for the petals on the sunflowers.

I glued the sunflowers together with DAP Rapid Fuse glue. I prefer (thick )Stick Fast, but I ran out and need to order more. I used my paint pen to fill in the engraved parts of the little signs, then sanded down the frames a bit.

A bit of glue and we’re done!

Here’s our finished project!
