Hey girl, hey! Today’s craft is fun and easy! I’m using a piece of wood that was originally destined for the fire pit at our campground, y’all! It was just too perfect, so I brought it home knowing it could be something awesome someday.
That someday is today! But besides this awesome flag craft, there are some stories on the video you might enjoy. Think captain of a boat (me), orca whales and my twin boys 21st birthday!

Let’s make it!
I sanded the wood and then painted strips with red and white.
I used blue to paint the base for the stars, then used my heat tool to dry the paint. I used a makeup sponge and a star stencil from Amazon to paint white stars.
I dried the stars and then sanded the flag just a bit.
I used a brown paint pen to make marks on the flag just to age it a bit, then spritzed the flag with water so I could add some Waverly stain. I lightly sanded it one more time.
