Hey girl, hey! This is a BEAUTIFUL project for Christmas in July! Check it out here in our Lizzy and Erin Woodshop so you can order yours. You can make them for your own home or to give as gifts!
See the video below or follow along here on the blog for all the steps!

Supplies:

Lizzy and Erin Woodshop: Oh Holy Night Nativity
Amazon: Rusty star, sanding sponge, DAP Rapid Fuse glue Click here to check out my crafting essentials (This is an Amazon affiliate link and I may receive a small compensation for items purchased from this link.)
Milton’s Daughter: Debi’s Design DIary DIY paint: White Swan
Stash: Raffia, black paint, twine, rusty star
Let’s make it!
I wanted a silhouette effect, so I’m just using black and white. To begin, I painted my base white. I watered it down a little because it was too thick. I also watered down the black.
I dried all the pieces with my heat tool, then sanded them down to bring back some of the wood.

I used DAP to hold the pieces together and to add the roof line and the wreath. I used twine for the bow on the wreath.

I added some raffia and a metal star, painted the star white, then sanded it a little, then glued it on.
You can add a little strand of fairy lights behind Mary and Joseph and put the battery pack on the back!

Let me know in the comments how you might paint yours! I appreciate each and every one of you.
Thanks so much for stopping by,
XOXO-Erin
