Supplies:

Lizzy and Erin Woodshop: Christmas Village shops, trees and lamps

Milton’s Daughter: Debi’s Design Diary DIY paint: White Swan, Pentart Snow Crystal Pen

Amazon: DAP Rapid Fuse glue, Xacto knife, Gator Microzip sander, Waverly Antique Wax, Click here to check out my crafting essentials (This is an Amazon affiliate link and I may receive a small compensation for items purchased from this link.)

Let’s make it!

When you unpack your Gift Shop, there is a tiny piece you’ll want to keep up with! It’s the door knob! And those tower looking things are stands for the lamp posts.

I painted both bases and some trim at the same time, using White Swan from Debi’s Design Diary, applied with a makeup sponge. I also painted the lamp posts and their stands white. I used Gypsy Green for the swags and wreaths.

I painted the bases and trims for windows and doors with Waverly Antique Wax, then dried all the pieces with my heat tool.

TIP: Put tiny pieces on tape to make painting easier.

I sanded the pieces just a bit with my Gator Microzip sander, and used my Xacto knife to enhance the shiplap lines.

I glued all the pieces onto the shops and the bases onto the lamp posts using DAP Rapid Fuse glue. I prefer thick Stick Fast glue, but DAP was what I had on hand.

I’ll add parchment paper to the back of each shop and little fairy lights like I did yesterday with the Hardware store. Click HERE for the video and blog post.

I painted my trees white and outlined them with a Pentart Snow Crystal Pen from Milton’s Daughter, and then glued my lamp post pieces together.

Check out the little garland and bows on those lamp posts! This little village is just adorable, y’all! Thanks for hanging out with us! Be sure to check in tomorrow for more of the Lizzy and Erin Woodshop launch!
