Let’s make it!

But first, here’s the bench all decorated for fall with the Sweater Pumpkin Bench Set!

Now for the Gingerbread Bench Set!

I prepared the Gingerbread Bench Set ahead of time, using white, gray, green, pink, red and light brown paint. I strung the peppermints and gingerbread men on twine, and placed the pieces on the bench. Imagine placing a sprig or two of a Christmas pick! How cute is that!

Now for the Decorative 3D House!

Don’t miss the detail in these panels! There are Christmas trees, a little deer, a squirrel and a snowman with gifts.

I started out using a makeup sponge to apply the paint, but decided to use a pouncer so the paint didn’t get clogged in the design. If there’s any excess paint, just poke it out with something like an Xacto knife. I painted both sides of each piece and dried them with my heat tool.

The bottom has a little door that opens so you can put lights in!

I traced the pieces onto parchment paper so the lights inside will be diffused and softly glowing. I just hot glued the paper to the wood pieces and I’m already loving it! I added the lights to the ceiling with Scotch tape and just put the rest inside. I used DAP glue to hold the house pieces together.

Assembling this couldn’t be easier, y’all! Just tabs and slots, TABS AND SLOTS! Woohoo!

And here are our projects for today! I’m so happy how they turned out, and the lights in the house are so inviting!

Let me know in the comments which project is your favorite! I appreciate each and every one of you!

Thanks so much for stopping by,

XOXO-Erin
