November 2025 Woodshop Launch Day Two AND A Celebration!

Hey girl, hey! It’s a BIG day here at Lizzy and Erin! Not only are we in day two of our Lizzy and Erin Woodshop launch, we are also celebrating our SEVENTH birthday as Lizzy and Erin! I can’t believe it’s already been seven years! I was so surprised when our sweet friend Janet Idziak reminded me!

The launch!

Giveaways!

Our birthday!

Wow! Join the birthday fun with the video below, and you can also follow along here on the blog if you just wanna make something fabulous! (Spoiler alert: I share something about our first ever live when we didn’t know we were live, and lots of other memories that we can never forget!)

Before we get to craftin’, here’s another something special from our Woodshop! These are the Lantern Shelf Sitters, and you get two in your order! There’s 1 Large Lantern Shelf Sitter – 5.25” W x 9.75” H and 1 Small Lantern Shelf Sitter – 5.25” W x 7.75” H. I just painted them black and added some lights from the Dollar Tree. Lights not included.

Today’s project is this 3 pack of Decorative Ornament Shelf Sitters! Y’all, these are so pretty and would be beautiful on a mantle or tabletop, and of course they are a great gift idea!

Supplies:

Milton’s Daughter: Debi’s Design Diary DIY paint: White Swan

Amazon: Gator Microzip Sander, Posca Paint Pens, Deco Earth paint, Apple Barrel paint Click here to check out my crafting essentials (This is an Amazon affiliate link and I may receive a small compensation for items purchased from this link.)

Let’s make it!

I painted the bases of the ornaments with gray, black and tan from Apple Barrel. The tan was a little light so I added some brown to make it just a bit darker. I painted the next layer with White Swan from Debi’s Design Diary DIY paint and Milton”s Daughter. For the greenery, I used a medium and also a dark green from Deco Earth paint. I used a red Posca paint pen for the berries.

I sanded each piece just a little with my Gator Microzip Sander and added a dry brush whitewash on them.

I glued the pieces on and added the stand for the back. You can glue the curved piece of the stand or not, depending on how you want to store it.

Here’s the one with the black background.

And here they are together!

Leave me a comment and let me know what colors you would make your ornaments! I appreciate each and every one of you.

Thanks so much for stopping by,

XOXO-Erin
