New Woodshop Launch!

Hey y’all, hey! I am always excited when we launch new Woodshop pieces because I get to craft with them and I also get to share them with all of you! By the way, whenever you see the words highlighted, you can click there and go right to the Woodshop.

Today we are going to create the Woodshop Wooden Box, but I’m also previewing all of the other new releases here and on the video below. So grab your snacks and let’s get crafty!

First we will do the preview!

This is the finished basket in blue with an Iron Orchid Design mould from Milton’s Daughter. I used Debi’s Design Diary DIY Paint in White Swan (also from Milton’s Daughter) for the one I crafted on the video above.

And here are the wood pieces I used for the basket. Look at those spindle handles, y’all! So cute!

Here’s the JOY snowman shelf sitter! Lizzy painted this one while she was here, and she added some shimmer to it!

This pair of snowman ornaments will be adorable on your tree, or give them as gifts to family and friends!

Use your imagination with different colors for this fun Hello Pumpkin sign! I chose blue and yellow and it looks so happy!

This trio of Pumpkin Shelf Sitters come with little bases so they can stand on a shelf or table, or even in an arrangement. They can also be glued onto a project! So cute with the little stems and squiggly vines!

And now for the craft!

Supplies:

Debi’s Design Diary DIY Paint: White Swan

Lowes, Home Depot or Amazon: DAP super glue Click here to check out my crafting essentials (This is an Amazon affiliate link and I may receive a small compensation for items purchased from this link.)

Stash: Sharpie marker

Thrifted: moss

Dollar Tree: Floral foam, pumpkins

Hobby Lobby: “Blessed” tag

Let’s make it!

I painted all pieces except for the bottom, then lightly sanded.

Using a ruler, I drew lines on the ends with my Sharpie marker. I will go back over them with a dry brush coat of white to lighten them up.

I used this glue because hot glue adds bulk where this doesn’t. I just glued all the pieces together, matching the notches.

Tip: This is a super glue! You may want to wear gloves to keep it from sticking to your skin. You can use hot glue, that will work also!

You can see the notches here. Each panel fits onto the base.

Once my basket was assembled, I put floral foam in the bottom and then stuck some greenery and yellow leaves in it.

I wanted it to be for fall, so I added some Dollar Tree pumpkins. I just put a dab of hot glue on the pumpkin and stuck a skewer in through the center, then just put the skewer into the floral foam.

And here we are! This is interchangeable for all seasons! Just remove the seasonal pieces and add Christmas, Valentines, Easter, July 4 or whatever!

Our Woodshop is a great place to get crafty, y’all! Be sure to check out everything by clicking here. Let me know in the comments what your favorite item is from the Lizzy and Erin Woodshop!

Thanks so much for stopping by,

XOXO-Erin

Some people just can’t get through their day without complaining about something. Oh h—- yes I would have picked up that free cowboy, put a sign in his hand and place him in your front yard. Oh my gosh girl I just laugh as I type this. Post picture when you put him out. Love you girl.
