Hey girl, hey! Today we are using these adorable tiny ornaments to make a framed Christmas tree. Everything except the canvas was thrifted! It’s fun to be on the lookout for items like this that you can use to create unique projects.
Check out the video below, or follow along here! To make your own, you can use miniatures, costume jewelry or any other small items you might thrift.

Supplies:

Goodwill Outlet: Picture frame (from the 1960’s)
Dollar Tree: 11 X 14 canvas
Amazon: Mod Podge, Rub ‘n Buff Click here to check out my crafting essentials (This is an Amazon affiliate link and I may receive a small compensation for items purchased from this link.)
Thrifted: Music sheets, tiny ornaments
Let’s make it!
I removed the picture from the frame, and also any staples or nails. I sanded the frame just enough to clean it up a bit.
I used Waverly Antique Wax to restore the brown color of the frame.

I put Mod Podge on the canvas, added my music sheets and put Mod Podge over them. I added Waverly Antique Wax to highlight the edges of the sheets. Next, I dried it with my heat tool.

A bit of hot glue to add the surface into the frame, and we are ready to add the ornaments!

I placed the ornaments before gluing them just to see where I wanted them. I arranged them, then hot glued each one into place. I used a baby alphabet block for the tree stand.

I used Rub ‘n Buff on the edges to give it a gold sheen, and now we have a beautiful and unique Christmas tree wall hanging made of miniature ornaments!
