April / May 2026 Woodshop Launch! Biggest One Ever!

Hey girl, hey! Today we are launching our May 2026 Woodshop, and I’m pretty sure it’s our biggest one we’ve ever done. In celebration of America’s 250th anniversary, we are making the Rustic Spindle Flag and the God Bless America shelf sitter with lots more to come this week! Did you know we host a giftaway during every Woodshop launch? We sure do! Be sure to follow us HERE so you can join in the fun.

We also have some finished projects that once sold out, they are gone! You can see the entire launch by clicking HERE.

Meanwhile, the videos are linked below. The first one was glitchy for myself and other creators on Facebook and YouTube so please excuse the skipping. You won’t miss anything, but I guess the media was in a mood! The second video finishes up the Rustic Spindle Flag (fast forward to continue the flag at 27:05) and also features tomorrow’s Woodshop launch!

Anyway, check out the videos below or follow along here for all the steps to create your very own special projects from our launch!

Supplies:

Erin Elizabeth Inspired Woodshop: Rustic Spindle Flag, God Bless America shelf sitter

Milton’s Daughter: Debi’s Design Diary DIY paint: White Swan, Marquee (red)

Amazon: Stick Fast glue (thick) Click here to check out my crafting essentials (This is an Amazon affiliate link and I may receive a small compensation for items purchased from this link.)

Walmart: Waverly Antique Wax

Let’s make it!

I started out with the God Bless America shelf sitter by painting the longest base piece and the word “God” with White Swan. I painted the middle base and the letters for “America” with Marquee (red). I painted the top piece blue and I mixed some teal with baby blue for the “Bless” letters.

TIP: Put small or thin pieces on the sticky side of tape to help hold them while you paint.

If you’ve been following me for a while, you know I have some Kikiriki chickens and they often make appearances when I’m crafting. This rooster likes to sit on my head and crow for some reason, maybe to oversee my craft….

I used thick Stick Fast glue and we’re done!

Now let’s get started on the Rustic Spindle Flag!

I used the tape method to hold down the stars as well as the spindles, and painted some of them with White Swan. I also used blue for the rectangle (where the stars will go) and finished with red for the other spindles. I placed these stars just to see how they will turn out. They aren’t glued yet.

I stained the frame and added some “age” to the pieces with Waverly Antique Wax, then glued all the pieces on to the surface with Stick Fast.

To finish, I used a toothbrush to make small splatters with white paint.

And our Rustic Spindle Flag is done!

Which of today’s projects is your favorite? Let me know in the comments! I appreciate each and every one of you.

Thanks so much for stopping by,

XOXO-Erin
