March 2026 Woodshop Launch: Spring Tulips!

Hey y’all, hey! We are so excited for this release from the Erin Elizabeth Inspired Woodshop! It’s all about spring and tulips! You can create with the Decorative Tulip Pair in many ways, and I hope this sparks your creativity.

Check out the video below or follow along here for all the steps!

Supplies:

Erin Elizabeth Inspired: Decorative Tulip Pair

Amazon: Stick Fast Glue (thick), Ranger Distress Oxide: Ground Espresso ink, Mod Podge, Apple Barrel paint: white, Click here to check out my crafting essentials (This is an Amazon affiliate link and I may receive a small compensation for items purchased from this link.)

Stash: Napkins

Let’s make it!

I began painting the flowers and the scrolls with Apple Barrel white, then separated the layers of my napkins and put Mod Podge on the wood. I laid the napkins on the pieces and then burned the excess off. Let me just say, a nail file or sanding block is much safer AND effective!

Fire! Fiiiiyer!

I’m ok, it’s all ok, it’s just out of control flames for just a minute! The fire technique is not for the kids!

I decided (after the near disaster) to use my Gator Microzip sander and some sheets of sandpaper. I continued the process of Mod Podge, napkin and trim (burn if you dare!) then sand off any extra. I did use the fire method again once one of our friends on the live video said to turn the flame down.

I used my Ranger Distress Oxide (Ground Espresso) ink pad to antique the edges.

I used Stick Fast Glue to put the wood pieces together. Some needed clothespins to hold them together until the glue dried. It dries pretty quickly.

I glued the base pieces, making sure the grooves lined up. (so the tulips will fit) and I’m thinking reindeer moss would look so pretty on them. I might add that later!

Here they are, all ready for spring! And check out the Interchangeable Window from yesterday’s video.

There are three of these adorable birds from the Rustic Bird Trio kit! I used scrapbook paper to create these, but you can also use paint, napkins or fabric!

Let me know in the comments what your favorite kit or technique is! I appreciate each and every one of you!

Thanks so much for stopping by,

XOXO-Erin
