Lizzy And Erin Woodshop Launch! Trio Of Flowers

Hey girl, hey! We have been deep cleaning, and I mean DEEP cleaning our house, so I’m ready to get crafty! I’m so excited that we have a new Lizzy and Erin Woodshop launch to create with, and you don’t want to miss it, so click here to see the launch.

Today we are making this adorable Trio of Flowers!

Check out the video below or just follow along here on the blog for all the fun!

Supplies:

Milton’s Daughter: Debi’s Design Diary DIY Paint: Apothecary, White Swan

Walmart: Waverly Antique Wax

Amazon: Mod Podge, sanding sponge, DAP Rapid Fuse glue Click here to check out my crafting essentials (This is an Amazon affiliate link and I may receive a small compensation for items purchased from this link.)

Michaels: Tim Holtz Distress Oxide: Ground Espresso

Let’s make it!

I used Apothecary to paint the base coat of my flowers, on front and back and around the edges.

I painted the detailed layer white, but kinda rough because I’m going to distress it.

Whenever I have tiny parts to paint, I use a strip of masking tape to hold them. It makes it so much easier!

TIP: Keep them on the tape for sanding if you want a distressed look.

I used scrapbook paper for the center circles. I just traced the shapes onto my paper, cut them out and used Mod Podge to adhere them, then sanded the edges.

I sanded the front and back of all of my painted pieces.

And then gently dabbed the ink pad over the yellow center just to give it a textured look.

Clothespins are great for holding my wood pieces together while the glue dries.

I used the ink pad to distress the edges of the accents, petals and leaves.

And here they are! Such a pretty accent to your spring and summer decor, and don’t forget that you can also create another set of these to gift them to someone special! These would be adorable on a dorm room windowsill!

TIP: Don’t glue the stand pieces (leaves) together so you can put them away to make room for other Lizzy and Erin Woodshop releases like Halloween and Christmas.

Let me know in the comments how you might paint your flower trio! I appreciate each and every one of you, and thanks so much for stopping by!

XOXO-Erin
