Let’s Jazz Up A Dollar Tree Bag

Hey y’all, hey! Today we are jazzing up a Dollar Tree bag! There’s bling, sparkles, pastels and more in this fun project!

Check out the video below or follow along here for all the steps!

Supplies:

Dollar Tree: Mesh bags, large disco balls, paper lanterns

Amazon: Gorilla Glue Click here to check out my crafting essentials (This is an Amazon affiliate link and I may receive a small compensation for items purchased from this link.)

Hobby Lobby: Iron on collegiate / varsity letters ($1.49 each), little disco ball (clearance), key ring bracelet (clearance)

But wait!

Before we make our bag, check out these paper lanterns from Dollar Tree! There are three to the pack and come in pink, teal and white. They are in the party section and super easy to assemble.

I also found some little disco balls at Dollar Tree that are a nice quality. Perfect to place inside your lanterns, or even just around them on a tray for a fun party display!

TIP: Fairy lights in the lanterns and also on the tray would be pretty! And a suggestion from Lisa (a friend from our live video) is to hang a disco ball in a sunny window. That’s a great idea!

Now let’s make our bag!

Those letters are iron-on, so they have some adhesive on the back but I’m using Gorilla Glue to be sure they will stay.

Our friends suggested that I put cardboard inside with parchment paper on top to keep the glue from going through. The glue has to sit overnight, so I clipped the letters on with clothespins.

TIP: Our friends suggested also using words like “cute” and “meds”!

And here it is! So cute and super easy. You can use this bag for a ton of things!

Let me know in the comments what you might name yours and what you would keep in it! I appreciate each and every one of you.

Thanks so much for stopping by,

XOXO-Erin
