January 2026 Woodshop Launch: XOXO Y’all!

Hey girl, hey! Valentine’s Day is right around the corner, or if you’re a crafter it’s pretty much here! Let’s get crafty on this adorable XOXO Y’all sign, so we’ll have something sweet for February 14!

Check out the video below or follow along here for all the steps! And be sure to check out the latest on our blog to see what we’re up to!

Supplies:

Dollar Tree: Craft sticks

Let’s make it!

I painted the letters and surface with Debi’s Design Diary DIY paint Marquee from Milton’s Daughter. If y’all have been here a while, you know this trick, but it’s good to share again: put your small or intricate pieces on the sticky side of painters tape to make them super easy to paint!

I used Apple Barrel Pink Parfait paint for the smaller surface where the letters will be glued. Note that you can see etchings for the placement of the letters. This makes it easy for all levels of crafters!

One of our friends suggested adding dots to the hearts, so I used my white Sharpie Creative paint marker to make dots before I glued everything together. It’s a little faint so I’ll go over them again when they are dry. I also used a fine marker for little squiggles outlining the edges of the letters.

I glued the pieces on and finished squiggling those outlines. All we need now is a hanger!

I made a hanger with beads before my live video, and I added it to the back of my sign. I used hot glue to glue the ends to the sign, then a piece of a craft stick on each end for extra security.

TIP: Check the position of your sign before adding the hanger so it will hang correctly.

Now here’s your sign that Valentines Day is almost here!

Let me know in the comments what your favorite Woodshop item is so far this week! Here’s the blog post with our latest projects.

Thanks so much for stopping by,

XOXO-Erin
