Let’s make it!
But before we get started, look at these adorable releases! The Bunny Basket and the Hello Spring Bunny Flower Pot are so cute! You can paint them as you wish! I made mine in soft pastels. Click on the images to see the kits.
Here we go!
I’ll be making these all at once, so here are the steps:
Before my live video, I painted the green parts on each piece, painted the words black with my Posca Paint Pen and painted the horseshoe gold.
I painted the bases of each St. Pat’s signs with two coats of White Swan. You can see how the wood is etched for perfect placement of letters and elements. Next, I used Waverly Antique Stain to stain the frame of the Lucky Stamp and the outlines of the carrots.
I sanded the pieces just a little.
I adhered them together with DAP Rapid Fuse glue. This glue or pretty much any super glue will help your pieces to glue on flat. Hot glue causes gaps and is not as permanent.
TIP: Place letters on masking tape (sticky side up) to paint them easier.

For the carrots, I painted the flowers pink with paint pens, the buttons a little bit of brown, then dry brushed white over them. I used DAP Rapid Fuse to put them together.
TIP: The flowers are a little different sizes, so check them before gluing, and place them as close to the top of the carrot as you can to help with balance. Also, you can use scrapbook paper on your wood cuts.

Also, my favorite paint pens are: Posca, Sharpie and Toolie. My favorite black and white pens are both Posca. The other brands have more color options. I like all of them for a variety of applications. All available through my Amazon link above.

I strung beads for my hangers with a bead stringer and stood my carrots onto their stands. So stinkin’ cute, y’all!

I hope you enjoyed these crafts! I sure did! Be sure to visit our Lizzy and Erin Woodshop, and get ready to create! Let me know in the comments if you have a favorite!
Thanks so much for stopping by,
XOXO-Erin
