February 2025 Woodshop Launch: Easter!

Hey y’all, hey! I’m so stinkin’ excited over this month’s Woodshop launch! One of our projects features a faith-based insert for this frame, and another has bunnies! There’s something for everyone in the Lizzy and Erin Woodshop. Did you see yesterday’s Woodshop launch post? Click HERE for the video and blog!

The “He Is Risen” insert goes with this frame: Click here! There are so many options for this frame!

Check out the video below for all the extras, or follow along here for all the steps!

Supplies:

Lizzy and Erin Woodshop: HE IS Risen interchangeable insert, Three Panel Folding Easter Sign

Hobby Lobby: Gold metal leaf

Amazon: Sanding sponge, Posca Paint Pen, Xacto knife, Waverly Antique Wax, DAP Rapid Fuse Glue Click here to check out my crafting essentials (This is an Amazon affiliate link and I may receive a small compensation for items purchased from this link.)

Milton’s Daughter: Debi’s Design Diary DIY Paint: White Swan, Petticoat Pink

Let’s make them!

I painted the carrot, bunny and flower before the live video. I also painted the frames of each panel with brown and added a white wash. I used my Xacto knife to enhance the lines after painting. Next, I painted the inside of the tulip with Petticoat Pink, and used the same pink to tone down the pinks on the bunny.

I glued all the pieces on with DAP Rapid Fuse glue.

TIP: The three panels have little pieces to connect them together. The one that goes in the middle has pieces on both sides to connect to. Glue the “hooks” pointed up to make it easier to attach the panels.

Now for the “HE IS Risen” interchangeable panel!

I painted the surface with White Swan, and the letters with a black Posca Paint Pen. I painted the crosses with Waverly Antique Wax and added gold metal leaf.

TIP: Use masking tape to hold your letters while painting.

And here are the finished pieces! I really enjoyed making them!

Let me know in the comments what your favorite project is! The interchangeable sign or the tri-fold? I appreciate all of your comments!

Thanks so much for stopping by,

XOXO-Erin
