February 2025 Woodshop Launch: Bunnies!

Hey girl, hey! We are on day three of our February 2025 Woodshop launch, and it’s a HUGE release! Today, it’s all about the bunnies! See the entire collection by clicking HERE! Did you miss any earlier posts of this month’s launch? Click here to see more on our blog!

Check out the videos below for all the extras, or follow along here on the blog to see how I created my bunny decor. (We have two videos today due to an Internet issue.)

Supplies:

Lizzy and Erin Woodshop: Cute As A Bunny sign, Bunny Pair Shelf Sitter

Amazon: Apple Barrel paint: Posca Paint Pens, Country Gray, DAP Rapid Fuse glue, Click here to check out my crafting essentials (This is an Amazon affiliate link and I may receive a small compensation for items purchased from this link.)

Milton’s Daughter: Debi’s Design Diary DIY Paint: White Swan

Let’s make them!

I painted several of the parts before the live video, then painted the surfaces with White Swan. I dried them with my heat tool and sanded them just a little. I used a fine point marker to write over the etched words on this one.

I decided to leave the frame in the natural color, so I glued the bunnies and frame on with DAP Rapid Fuse glue.

TIP: Use clothespins to hold your edges together while the glue dries.

I found this two-tiered tray in the Dollar Tree Plus for five dollars. It’s perfect for displaying some of our Woodshop crafts! The carrots you see in the picture are from our Woodshop, and featured on our blog HERE . You can add flowers, eggs, or whatever you want to create a cute display.

For the Bunny Pair Shelf Sitter, I used Apple Barrel’s Country Gray to paint both layers of the bunnies and their feet, and DAP Rapid Fuse glue to put them together. The feet are on masking tape to hold them while I’m painting. It’s a great technique when painting small things, especially letters!

I used a Posca pink paint pen for the pads on the feet, the ears and hearts / noses. I used a Posca black pen for the eyes. Once everything was dry, I dry brushed white over the bunnies. After dry brushing, I touched up some of the pink areas to make the color show a bit better, then dried them with my heat tool.

TIP: Paint the edges and sides.

Here are our bunnies! So cute. I’m planning to cover their stand with green moss, to make it even more Easter-y!

I hope you enjoyed how these turned out! I just love crafting for Easter and spring. Let me know in the comments which craft is your favorite! I appreciate each and every one of you.

Thanks so much for stopping by,

XOXO-Erin
