Hey y’all, hey! My son Finn is off from school today, so he is helping me with this craft! He actually came up with the idea, and we are going with it!
Check out the video below, or follow along here on the blog for all the steps!

Supplies:

Dollar Tree: Surface (sign), beads from Easter
Hobby Lobby: Ranger Distress Oxide ink: Ground Espresso
Walmart: Bandanas, Waverly Antique Wax
Lowe’s or Home Depot: Large shims
Stash: Greenery, twine, berry garland
Let’s make it!
Finn and I are ready to craft, y’all! He helped pick out today’s project supplies, and it’s always fun when he shows up and shows out!
We are starting with this sign from Dollar Tree.

We started out by fitting the shims on our surface, then hot gluing them on.
Next, I spritzed the shims with water and Finn painted them with Waverly Antique Wax. (He decided he needed Pam’s glasses to paint!)

I cut a piece of the bandana and then used Mod Podge to glue it to the Dollar Tree pumpkin.
I smoothed it out and then trimmed around the edges, with Finn’s supervision, of course!

I glued beads from Dollar Tree onto the pumpkin while Finn planned his next move….

I toned down the orange beads with my Ranger Distress Oxide ink pad, then used a paint brush to distribute the ink.

I hot glued some pieces of a berry garland and wound twine around the stem, then glued two strips of the green bandana to the top of the beads. I just hot glued the pumpkin to the surface and we’re done!

I hope you enjoyed this fun craft! I know Finn sure did! Let me know in the comments what you think. I appreciate each and every one of you.
Thanks for stopping by!
XOXO-Erin
