Fall Pumpkin And Grace Inserts From The Lizzy And Erin Woodshop Release!

Hey y’all, hey! We have two new inserts for your Interchangeable Frame! The actual frame comes with a “home” insert, and there are so many others! You can change them out for all kinds of seasons and occasions.

Check out the video below, or follow along here on the blog for all the steps!

Here’s the frame and the finished “home” insert. Click here or on the image to see it in the Woodshop!

Supplies:

LIzzy and Erin Woodshop: Grace Upon Grace insert, Hey Pumpkin insert

Milton’s Daughter: Debi’s Design Diary DIY Paint: White Swan, Bohemian Blue

Deco Earth paint: Orange, white (My White Swan from Debi’s Design Diary ran out!)

Walmart: Waverly Antique Wax

Amazon: Sanding sponge, DAP Rapid Fuse glue, Xacto knife, Deco Art black chalkboard paint Click here to check out my crafting essentials (This is an Amazon affiliate link and I may receive a small compensation for items purchased from this link.)

Let’s make it!

I misted both surfaces with water, then painted them with White Swan and Deco Earth White (I ran out of White Swan), and dried them with my heat tool. Once dry, I sanded them just a bit.

For the Grace upon grace insert, I used Deco Art black paint. I painted the small letters by placing them on a strip of masking tape, then painted the “Grace”. Next, I dried them with my heat tool.

I used Bohemian Blue for the words on the “Hey, Pumpkin” insert, Deco Earth orange for the pumpkins, and Waverly Antique Wax for the pumpkin stems. I sanded the pumpkins just a little.

I followed the etching on the surface with my Xacto knife to bring back the shiplap lines that the paint went over, then used DAP Rapid Fuse glue to adhere the pieces to the surface.

TIP: There are etched lines so you’ll know where to place all the pieces!

Use clothespins to hold the pieces on while the glue dries.

And just like that! We have two new inserts for the interchangeable frame!

I love the simplicity of these, y’all! And that Bohemian Blue with orange is just beautiful! Let me know in the comments what colors you might use on yours. I appreciate each and every one of you.

Thanks so much for stopping by,

XOXO-Erin
