Hey y’all, hey! Even though it’s freezing here in Washington State, I couldn’t wait to make this adorable Easter tree in a baby chick planter! Check out the video below, or just follow along here on the blog.
TIP: You can also make all kinds of these… Christmas, St. Patricks, even a Valentine tree with a teacup as your base!
Supplies:

Yard sale: Easter chick planter for only $3
Sticks from the yard: and yes, the rooster CHASED me!
Stash: Eggs, twine, raffia, pompoms
Dollar Tree: Moss
Amazon: Floral foam Click here to check out my crafting essentials (This is an Amazon affiliate link and I may receive a small compensation for items purchased from this link.)
Let’s make it!
How cute is this little chick planter, y’all? Of course, it had to come home with me!

I added the floral foam to my planter and then I put hot glue on top to hold the moss.
Once the moss was in, I added my branches.

I added some Spanish moss over the green moss as filler.
Then I hung the eggs on the branches. Some have hangers, and I used twine for the ones that didn’t.

Here’s how it’s going!

I added some pompoms and raffia. It was so easy to make this cute!
Not only easy and cute, but it’s a quick project! You can use it for table decor, put it by a door, on a corner table… wherever you might enjoy a breath of spring!
TIP: One of our friends suggested adding ribbons and tassels to the tree. Another suggested battery operated fairy lights!

Before I go, did y’all see the craft from yesterday? This Valentine heart is just so pretty! (Click on the picture for all the details!)

This little tree is so festive! I hope you try one for yourself. Just look around and use what you’ve got, girl! Let me know in the comments what you might add to yours!
Thank you so much for stopping by,
XOXO-Erin
