Hey girl, hey! Today we are making a wreath from a Dollar Tree gift bag and a pizza pan. It’s super easy and with the whole project being less than $5, it’s thrifty too!
Side note: there is a mouse in my craft room and my cat Rowan is on the hunt! I keep thinking the mouse is coming over to see what I’m making. Y’all… I almost forgot how to use Mod Podge! Mickey Mouse needs to go do something else… SOMEWHERE else!

Supplies:

Amazon: Sanding sponge, Mod Podge, Posca paint pens Click here to check out my crafting essentials (This is an Amazon affiliate link and I may receive a small compensation for items purchased from this link.)
Dollar Tree: Pizza pan, gift bag, school glue, beads
Debi’s Design Diary DIY Paint: White Swan
Stash: Glitter
Michaels: Gingham ribbon
Walmart: Wood “Merry” tag
Let’s make it!
I started by painting my pizza pan with two coats of Debi’s Design Diary DIY Paint. It’s a clay / chalk paint that works great on projects like this one. I dried it with my heat tool, then sanded it down just a bit.

The wreath is printed on both sides of this Dollar Tree gift bag, so you can create two projects out of one bag! I cut my wreath out before I went live, so it was ready to be added to the pizza pan.
That mouse has me all messed up today, y’all! I put the Mod Podge on the paper instead of the pan! Don’t do that…. unless you also have a mouse, then just do what you gotta do, girl!
Everything came out ok, I just added Mod Podge to the pointy pieces so they would adhere to the pan.

Then I put more Mod Podge over the top and let it dry.

Here’s where I decided to use glitter.
Glitter, y’all!
I just dabbed school glue on each printed berry, then sprinkled glitter over the wreath. I think glitter and I “might” actually be friends again!

These Posca paint pens are great for lots of different crafts. I have them listed above in my Amazon link, and you might also find them at Michaels.
I used my black pen and just drew lines to make it look like chipped enamelware.
I also added a bow and a little tag that says “Merry”.

Our friends suggested natural beads for the hanger. I just tied a knot on each end and secured them with hot glue and a piece of a craft stick.

Here’s the finished project! I love how simple and fun this was!

Let me know what you think of this craft in the comments below! I appreciate each and every one of you!
XOXO-Erin
