DIY Easter Topiary

This little DIY turned out really cute, and it was easy too!!!!

Here’s what I used for this project:

  • Foam Ball
  • Foam Easter Eggs (Mine came from a Michael’s Easter Egg Garland, but you could easily use the ones from the dollar tree.
  • Wooden box. Mine is recycled from a Christmas Decoration.
  • Dowel Rod
  • Spanish Moss
  • Wooden Bunny Cut out, or another cute embellishment for the front of your box.
  • Waverly Antique Wax
  • White Paint
  • Hot Glue, Glue Gun, Paint brush, scissors, and any other tools you think you may need.

Start with gluing the spanish moss to the foam ball. It does not need to be covered completely because it will only peak through some areas behind the eggs.

Start attaching your eggs with hot glue. The bigger the eggs the faster this part will go.

Paint the wooden box you plan to use as the base. I painted mine white. Note: My wooden base already had material inside that would hold my dowel rod, but you will probably need to add a piece of floral foam to your box so you can stick the dowel inside.

Next, Insert your dowel into the foam ball and into your base. Securing if necessary with Hot Glue. Then you can cover the material inside your base with the spanish moss so you can’t see it.

All that is left, is to decorate the front of your base. If you want to. I chose to use a wooden bunny cut out from Dollar Tree and stain it with the waverly antique wax.

That’s it. It turned out so dang cute, and I absolutely love it!!!

If you love it as much as we do, could you do us a little favor and…

Love this 🐇 Quick question. Do you have a favorite glue gun/glue sticks you use? Having trouble finding a good one. Thanks.
