December 2025 Woodshop Launch! Final Day: Snowman And A Chalet!

Hey girl, hey! It’s Friday and that means we are on our last day of December 2025 Lizzy and Erin Woodshop launch, and we have an adorable Winter Snowman plus a Welcome Winter chalet sign to share!

Check out the video below or follow along here on the blog for all the steps! And remember we have a gift away throughout the week with a BIGGUN on the Monday following our launch. The details of our gift aways are all in the video!

Supplies:

Lizzy and Erin Woodshop: Snowman Winter Rustic Frame Insert, Welcome Winter Sign

Milton’s Daughter: Debi’s Design Diary DIY paint: White Swan

Amazon: Posca Paint Pens, Stick Fast glue, Mod Podge, Deco Earth paint: Maritime Blue, Waverly Antique Wax Click here to check out my crafting essentials (This is an Amazon affiliate link and I may receive a small compensation for items purchased from this link.)

Let’s make it!

To celebrate the final launch of the year, we’re making two winter themed kits! I painted some of the parts before the video, and then started painting the base of our Snowman Winter interchangeable insert. I used Deco Earth Maritime Blue and a makeup sponge to cover the surface. The snowman will go over that unpainted spot. I painted him white with White Swan from Milton’s Daughter and Debi’s Design Diary DIY paint. I dry brushed some white for the scarf and buttons.

I mixed some of the blue with white for a lighter color. I used that blue for the edges and some letters, and Waverly Antique Wax for the “Welcome”, the eaves, and the door on the Welcome Winter chalet project. I put a coat of Mod Podge on the A frame chalet house base just to protect the natural finish.

Here’s the chalet so far, before anything is glued. You can see there are etchings in the wood to show where to place pieces.

I used a white paint pen for the snow and glued all the pieces on with Stick Fast glue. I used my Posca Paint Pens to make eyes and rosy cheeks on the snowman.

And here are our beautiful winter signs!

Let me know in the comments if you decorate with traditional colors or other colors! I appreciate each and every one of you.

Thanks so much for stopping by,

XOXO-Erin
