December 2025 Woodshop Launch! Day One: Hot Cocoa Time!

Hey girl, hey! Today’s projects make us all want some hot cocoa with marshmallows and peppermint! It’s the Lizzy and Erin Woodshop Launch, and there’s something for everyone on your list. We have holiday decor pieces to paint in your favorite colors, we have inserts, interchangeables and even a “Cards of Christmas Past” kit to keep those special Christmas cards!

Did you know we host a launch from the Lizzy and Erin Woodshop every single month? We sure do! It’s the first week of the month, and there’s a basket full every month, with gift aways each day starting with day 2 and going into the next Monday!

Check out the video below, or follow along here on the blog for all the fun!

Supplies:

Lizzy and Erin Woodshop: 3 pack Cocoa Bar Decor, Cocoa Bar Sign, Light Up Cocoa Bar Easel

Milton’s Daughter: Debi’s Design Diary DIY paint: White Swan

Amazon: Stick Fast Glue, Posca paint pens, Toolie Art paint pens, Sharpie Creative Markers, Apple Barrel paint Click here to check out my crafting essentials (This is an Amazon affiliate link and I may receive a small compensation for items purchased from this link.)

Let’s make it!

But first, here’s just a quick peek at the launch! The Cards of Christmas Past: It comes with metal rings but you can add ribbon like I did if you want it to be more festive. There’s a whole basket of goodness here, so make sure you follow along all week to see some great project ideas!

I started out painting all of the red pieces first, then used the sticky side of painters tape to hold the small pieces down while I painted them white. I used an icy blue color for the Peppermint jar and paint pens for the red stripes on the peppermints. I used my Toolie Art paint pens for them, but I also love Posca and Sharpie paint pens.

I added stripes to the jar tops also, then did a dry brush white over everything.

I painted the jar knobs black, then gave everything a little sanding. I used my Stick Fast Glue (get the thick kind, y’all, and watch the size vs price) to put the pieces together.

I only used white, red, black and blue for all of these, I added green for the greenery on the Hot Cocoa bar sign (at bottom of blog).

I used my white paint pen to do some highlights on the edges, and glued the bases on. Here are the Cocoa Bar signs that are also available in our Woodshop! And check out the Light Up Cocoa Bar Easel! Yes, it has lights!

And we have a great display for the holidays!

Let me know in the comments which one is your favorite. I appreciate each and every one of you!

Thanks so much for stopping by,

XOXO-Erin
