This is how your bundle will arrive. There’s the honey pot and lid, the two layered hive, the honey dipper, flowers, bees and the word “HAPPY”! Wow! So many ways to create with this!

Let’s make them!
To start, I painted this little bee with my Posca Paint Pens from Amazon (linked above), then painted the “HAPPY” with black chalkboard paint. I’ll distress them by sanding just a little once they are all dry. (I later repainted the “HAPPY” with white so it would show up better, sanded it a little, then dry brushed yellow, added dots and dashes to both the bee and the “HAPPY”.)

Painting parts! I painted the daisy and jar white and the hive yellow.

Then I stained the outside of the hive with Waverly Antique Stain, the dipper and the center circles for the daisies.

I glued all of the wood pieces together with DAP Rapid Fuse glue.

Don’t let that yellow lid fool ya, it’s a Posca black paint pen with a yellow top. The lid got lost so the yellow pen took one for the team! I used the black for dotting the daisy and a white pen for the hive.

I used Tim Holtz Distress Oxide in Ground Espresso to antique my jar. It’s a neat technique that gives dimension to the project.

I stamped “buzzin” and glued the pieces on. I added a Tumbling Tower Game block to the back so it would stand. I also added some raffia on the handle of the dipper (see next image).

The finished pieces! There’s so much creativity with this bundle, and will be so cute displayed together.
TIP: Sand pieces down, add dots of paint for even more personality!

I hope you enjoyed these projects! Be sure to check out the latest release here. Let me know in the comments how you might style yours!
Thanks so much for stopping by,
XOXO-Erin
