Let’s make it!
We will start with the Decorative Stacked Pumpkins Shelf Sitter! I painted the small pieces using the masking tape method. Click HERE to see the masking tape method. I used a few different shades of green for the foliage, yellow and brown for the flowers, applying the paint with a makeup sponge.

I dry brushed the pieces just to tone down the bright colors.

For the pumpkin stack, I used Debi’s Design Diary DIY paints: Farm Fresh, Faded Burlap and Deco Earth’s green. I dried it with my heat tool, then spritzed it with water and painted a light coat of Faded Burlap to tone down the colors, dabbing it with a paper towel to remove any excess. I sanded it just a bit with my sanding sponge.

I used clothes pins to hold the top piece together while the glue dried, then added the greenery using Stick Fast glue. I used hot glue to add some Super Moss excelsior grass and a bow, and added the kick stand with Stick Fast glue. It’s so cute, y’all!

Now for the interchangeables! These are a perfect match for our Interchangeable Bench Base. We have several kits to use with this bench, as well as other interchangeables! Check them out HERE.

Here’s our Pumpkin Bench Set to go along with the bench pictured above!
I painted the banners green with a light coat of Faded Burlap to tone it down. I painted the letters white and other pieces with Deco Earth orange, peach and black, and sanded them just a little, then dried them with my heat tool.
I stained the two “message” boards with Waverly Antique Wax, dried them with my heat tool and sanded them. You can see the engraving for the placement of the pieces on the boards.

Each of the message boards have kick stands.

I glued all of the pieces with Stick Fast glue, and finished by placing them on the bench!
