Let’s make it!
Pam decided to make two of our projects today, and she started with the Ghost Love Shelf Sitter. She used the masking tape method to paint the small pieces (click here to see how) using paint pens. She painted the base with Dark and Decrepit and the pumpkin with Deco Earth’s orange. She used a brown paint pen for the stem and dried the pieces with her heat tool. She painted White Swan on the ghosts, and highlighted the pumpkins with a white marker, and the folds on the ghosts with a gray marker. Pam was just using all of Erin’s favorite supplies, y’all.

Pam used clothes pins to hold the pieces together until the glue dried.

She used Stick Fast glue to add the details onto the ghosts: the wreaths for their heads, the heart on the pumpkin and the “greenery” for the bottom.

Pam’s next project is the Two Pack Decorative Pumpkin Shelf Sitters. She is showing us the kick stands that will be used to stand the pumpkins up once they are finished. She used Deco Earth orange for one pumpkin and two shades of green to paint the stems.

She used Faded Burlap for the next pumpkin, added White Swan for the oval that will be glued on top. The floral pieces were painted black, gray, light and dark green. Pam sanded the pieces down just enough to distress them,

Pam glued all of the pieces onto the pumpkins and added some Aspen Wood Super Moss (see Amazon link in supply list above.)

For the kickstands: sandwich the two smaller “U” shaped pieces between the larger “U” shapes for both pumpkins and glue them. Glue the piece about a third down from the top of the back of the pumpkin so your stick will just fit in there and “kick” out. No need to glue the stick inside, so it will be easier to store.
And here are Pam’s projects for today!

By the way, we have kid’s kits in the Lizzy and Erin Woodshop! Pumpkin, Frankenstein and candy corn or you might choose the Tic Tac Toe with ghosts and spiders. Both kits come with paint, brush, glue and instructions.
Let Erin know in the comments which of Pam’s projects are your favorite! We appreciate each and every comment.
Thanks so much for stopping by,
XOXO-Erin
