Hey girl, hey! I’m here with FOUR of our kits from the Lizzy and Erin Woodshop, and I’m not ghostin’ y’all! I’ll be using just black and white paint for all of them, with just a smidge of orange and a touch of beige, and we are going to have a whole display just right for Halloween! Also, we have giveaways during each launch! Be sure to check out the video below for all the details.

Let’s make it!
For the exception of just a teeny bit of orange on the “Hey Boo”, I’m using all black and white paint for each of the four projects. I separated the pieces so I could paint all white then all black, and used the masking tape method to paint the small ones. I put two coats on each of the big pieces using my Lil Hickabilly paint brush and dried them with my heat tool, then sanded a little.

TIP: Be careful when you unpack the Decorative Ghost Wall Art. Keep up with the teeny eyes! You’ll need those.

When you get your Decorative Ghost Wall Art pieces painted, check the placement of the layer with the holes / stars. You’ll want them to show up between the designs on the cover layer. Just adjust the placement with the oval background.
I use clothespins to clip the pieces together until the glue dries.
Assembling the ghost: The piece in the third image below is just a template for placing the eyes and stripes. You can set it in the outline (not glued!) and use a fine tip pen or pencil to mark where the pieces go, or just freehand the placements!

I used my #22 Toolie Art Paint Pen to color the swing for the Ghost on a Swing, then the Ranger Distress Oxide ink pad in Ground Espresso to distress it a little. I wet a paper towel and kinda smeared the wet ink to darken the swing. The closeup is where the swing will connect to the tree. It’s so stinkin’ cute!

TIP: Paint the edges of your projects after the glue dries. I used a black paint pen.
The Nerdy Ghost was quick and easy! I just painted the white parts, then the black and glued the pieces together!

Last, but definitely not least, the Interchangeable Leaner “Hey Boo”! It goes with THIS base, which can be changed from season to season or holiday to holiday.
Here is the base with July 4th “God Bless America” insert. The image is attached with Velcro and the panel just slides into the frame at the bottom.

I added a bow and beaded hanger to the Nerdy Ghost that I painted before the live, but you can add yours to a wreath or whatever you’d like!
We have FOUR great projects finished and ready for October!

Well, this was fun! Let me know in the comments what your favorite project of today is! I appreciate all of your comments.
Thanks so much for stopping by!
XOXO-Erin
