Hey y’all, hey! It’s day THREE of the April Lizzy and Erin Woodshop launch! We are having fun with this “Local Egg Dealer” sign that is right on time with the price of eggs right now! We have giveaways during the launch week, so be sure to check out our videos on Facebook to get in on the fun.

Let’s make it!
I painted the background with two coats of Waverly white, then placed the pieces on the sticky side of masking tape and painted them, using red, black and yellow for the various parts. I watered down my white paintbrush and did a white wash over everything, then wiped it off with a paper towel and dried it with my heat tool. Next, I sanded the pieces just a little.
I painted the eggs with Sandstone from Deco Earth, then flicked black specs on them with watered down paint.
I used a red Posca paint pen to color the comb, wattle and the letters. I speckled the letters with black and then dried the pieces with my heat tool.
I used Stick Fast glue to adhere the pieces to the base, and also the layers (wing, tail, eggs, etc).
I tore strips of blue checked fabric to use as a hanger, and just tied the ends with the knots on the front of the sign.
