Amazing Grace And More Woodshop Launch!

Hey y’all hey! Click here to check out our latest Lizzy and Erin Woodshop launch! We are so excited for this release, so don’t miss out! Order while they are still available!

Today we are crafting with this Amazing Grace sign, and it comes with a stand! Check out the video below, or just follow along here on the blog.

Supplies:

Debi’s Design Diary DIY Paint: White Swan, Dark and Decrepit

Amazon: DAP Rapid Fuse glue, Sanding sponge, Posca paint pens Click here to check out my crafting essentials (This is an Amazon affiliate link and I may receive a small compensation for items purchased from this link.)

This Amazing Grace project is absolutely beautiful. The background is separate from the sentiment, so you can paint it as detailed or as simple as you want!

But y’all, you don’t even need to do much to this! I only painted the top layer. The background with the music notes is just as it came from the Woodshop. You can keep this on display all year long!

Let’s make it!

You can use a paint pen (mine are Posca, from Amazon and linked above). With the paint pen, I kept all of the edges of the circle and the edges of the letters natural. You’ll see in the next few images that you can also use paint for the top layer.

For the base, I used Debi’s Design Diary Dark and Decrepit to stain it so the notes would show through. I gave it a couple of coats, then wiped it off with a paper towel. I wanted the stain to mostly go into the notes.

On this one, I used White Swan from Debi’s Design Diary DIY paint for the top layer. I sanded it just a bit once it was painted.

I used DAP glue to adhere the top layer to the base, then clipped the two together until it set up. I also pressed down on the center of the words since clothespins don’t reach.

The stand is super simple! I just painted it with the Dark and Decrepit and it was done!

Here are a bunch of our releases today. Be sure to order yours here while supplies last!

How would you finish your Amazing Grace sign? Let me know in the comments below! I read them all and i really appreciate each and every one of you.

Thanks so much for stopping by,

XOXO-Erin
